…that i missed him singing “ball and chain” or that I missed him singing “i fought the law” WITH ness.
to add salt to the wounds, apparently stevie said on his radio show last week that THE E STREET BAND HAD LEARNED A SOCIAL D SONG and that they were/are expecting a ness appearance at an upcoming show.
because, FOR YEARS NOW (no seriously, for years), i have been advocating social d as a backing band for a springsteen solo effort.
i saw ness on tuesday at irving and believed that to be sufficient.

If it makes you feel any better, I was just outside the door and didn’t get in. Not because it was sold out. Not because I didn’t have the money. But because the ^$%^$% doorman didn’t feel like letting me in.
I saw the tops of their heads through the coat check room. And I heard them (sort of). FWIW, I didn’t even know he was there until I walked up. I was there to see Ness, along with the one other person I know who likes both Ness and Bruce, and who recognized Kevin Buell and texted me from inside.
