21. How Can A Poor Man Stand Such Times and Live (Seeger Session version)

it’s an important song to do but he couldn’t just fucking do it straight? he has to turn it into a fucking dropkick murphys fest?

Thought you were trying to stay unspoiled about the rehearsals.

Anyway, they can call it the “Seeger Sessions” version but I expect it will be different.

Besides, they can play that every show and twice on Sunday if it replaces “American Land”

Poor Man is a great song and I’ll be thrilled to hear it in any arrangement. Though would love to hear it with some E Street Scorch. That said, what I cannot stomach (or understand for the life of me) is how Lonesome Day looks like it will get yet another turn this tour. Mystifying. I can look the other way on plenty, but I will just have to assume that either he is kidding or I have missed something important. I realize everyone has their little pet peeves and pet thrills with all that art and culture have to offer but Lonesome Day again (insert multiple question marks)
