I’ve been waiting patiently to read this Caryn.
I wasn’t there and you captured the night for me.
I’ve listened to Higher and Higher over and over on the bootleg and watched the Youtube video of it about 10 times in the past two days.
What’s so great about the video (the one shot from Clarence’s side of the stage) is the crowd reaction behind Roy and Soozie. Everyone is in sync, Bruce, the band, the audience.
An amazing 10 minutes. I can see why Flynn said it was the finest E Street Band moment in the last decade.
And I’m still upset/mad/pissed/disgusted/hurt/sad/ that I wasn’t at this show.
